Object found near my washing machine. Any ideas?

Looks like a sweater drying rack to me. You put it in the dryer so the sweatrer doesn't move (and thus doesn't stretch out) while the warm air goes aorund it.
I was thinking the same thing.
I think it's a white piece of plastic that is taking up space. Toss it!
This is a dying rack used in a Kenmore clothes dryer. This is so you can dry shoes, delicate items, or other such things.
